In this webinar, we will explore how parallels between the parts in Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy and the roles in Karpman's Drama Triangle can inform family-centered addiction treatment both for chemical dependency and process addiction. The integration of frameworks can be a helpful tool for therapists as they work to facilitate transformational healing both within the individual client and within the family system as a whole. This webinar will describe these parallels in detail and provide a description of how Core Self traits can be used to move from the Drama Triangle into the Empowerment Dynamic described in Stephen Karpman's work. This transformation, in turn, opens the door to lasting family recovery.
