In this webinar, Dr Lisa Merchant, Presiding Member of the TSBEMFT and member of the TSBEMFT Ethics Committee, will present the most common complaints and violations, including sexual and dual relationships, not distinguishing between practice as a pastoral counselor/life coach and MFT, facilitating unlicensed practice, and improper informed consent and record keeping. She will also discuss best practices for protecting your license through case notes, documentation, setting and maintaining boundaries, referral, and self-care. We will also address the supervision file.
